Pick your friends, but not to pieces......

harlow......me again....some days i am free or have creative juices flowing so i can blog and blog....yawn...sleepy me. Hmmmm...just thought about cats, lovely cuddly creatures as they are but ive never had the opportunity to keep one since i'm in a condo...

Do you think cats make good companions? Many people say dogs make better pets, but i beg to differ. Cats are not that'jumpy, hyper' beings like dogs. Refering to my subject title, friends. One line which is always stuck in my mind, 'A friend is someone who understands and ALWAYS lend a helping hand....Nowadays got friends like this meh? Always lend a hleping hand???? Nah....I feel (albiet abit sad) friends nowadays are like convenience stores. You pop into one when you need something.......Correct me if I'm wrong, altho' i'd not like to generalise as well, most of the time, cityfolk are like that. Of course there are still nice people around....I have this friend who treats me as her 'when there is no one around, then I'll only look for her' kinda friend. Yup, she'll call me only when she has exhausted her other chummies (who maybe busy to entertain to her whims) or when she 'happens' to be in that area where I'm in. Sad isnt it?

Well.....i shall not rant anymore although i know i'm quite a melancholic ( a topic on personality type which i shall blog on another day), I am just missing real friends. One who can offer you chocolate and tissue when u're down and even buy you flowers for no reason!!!! Well...am i a friend myself? I'd like to think so,
